I thought I had realistic expectations about becoming a parent. I fully anticipated rocking her to sleep and not getting a lot of sleep myself. But it never occurred to me that I wouldn’t be able to put my child down. EVER. Not even when she was in a dead sleep.
I had this perfect picture in my head of what my breastfeeding journey would look like. The truth is, no one knows what that journey will hold, and you can’t prepare for everything.

Every time I hear a mama mention that their milk supply has dropped, there is one question that immediately pops in to my head.
